課程概述 |
This course is designed for advanced undergraduate and graduate students in chemical oceanography and geochemistry. It provides details about the principles and applications of isotope geochemistry in oceanography. The subjects range from fundamental concepts in mass spectrometry and isotope geochemistry to more complex oceanography questions. The course will discuss a wide range of isotope applications in ocean environments with a particular focus on radioactive isotopes and non-traditional stable isotopes. The course will also introduce marine sampling techniques and laboratory processes for measuring trace elements and isotopes. |

課程目標 |
The objective of this course is to develop a thorough understanding of the principles of marine isotope geochemistry and its applications to the studies of chemical elements and isotopes in the oceans. This course also aims to provide foundational knowledge in mass spectrometry and instrumentation for marine isotope analysis. |
